The Recipe Box To Go App Reviews

A good app for storing recipes with shopping list. A plus: all pre-installed recipes can be deleted (and re-installed). Adding new recipes is easy and simple. The ingredient list is pure text and therefore simple and universal. The categories can be edited, which makes them universal too. Still, I would like to see a German localisation (this would add a fifth star).

I love this app, its pretty easy to handle, type in your own recipes or import from websites. I love the step by step directions, you can mark steps youve done thats pretty comfortable and clearly. Also sync, add to cart and "in the pantry" work really fine! Im in germany and so it would be great, to be able to import from more foreign sites. Not because of the language, because of the ingredients. Some are not easy to get here ;) One of my suggestions was kochbar.de for example. But what I miss more: it would be great if the app would calculate different servings! If your recipe is good for 4 servings, simply type in 6 serving and it calculates the ingredients :) Its very close to 5 stars, with a possibility to calculate servings Ill give a 5 star rating :)

This app is a waste of money unless you want to learn how to make french toast or rum and coke,you do get a couple of recipes but not worth your two dollars

This app is terrible to use. Cant add recipes as easily as indicated! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST APP I have ever spent money on! Dont waste your time. I wish I could get a refund its that bad.

I love the fact that I can now have my recipes beamed from my iPad to my iPhone. They are at my finger tips when I am on the go and it is like an extra backup of them so if I ever have to get a new iPad again my recipes wont be lost by a pre upgrade backup overwriting my actual backup!

I like the categories, etc. But its difficult to save thé recipee or save the add we made. When i use the "done" it freeze, nothing happened and i wait but i have to close the application. But When it works its super

Love this app. Have it on my ipad and I bought The Recipe Box To Go as well. Very convenient to use. Easy to copy and paste recipes from various sources. I transferred the recipes from my iPad app to the new one in seconds, although I had 100 or more recipes to transfer.

XML PARSER ERROR is all that i get, what a waste

Easy to use! Nice layout. I would like to see a spot for more types of recipes. I can see a spot for sauces/salsas but what about dips? Also the clock for prep time is abit confusing to use. Not sure if 1:30 is a minute thirty seconds or an hour and thirty minutes.

I love this app. I noticed it on a friends iPad and was very disappointed that there wasnt an iPhone version. Thank you for finally making one. Its so easy to put recipes in wether its my own or from a website. And the option to sync to all devices and send to friends is awesome. And the shopping list? A little jewel. This is a must for anyone who cooks. :)

Zero! The Worst! Total Waste!

This is the most amazing app. I have it on my iPad as well. Wasnt too keen on the recipes it came with but have has fun entering my own. So easy to use either with copy and paste or instant import. Even typing them out is easy. Love the way I can get a shopping list by a click of a button and mark ingredients off as I pick them up. One of the best apps Ive purchased to date.

Doesnt work properly. The included recipes are just "whatever". I bought it because I wanted to be able to keep track of my own as well as add some from allrecipes. Spent quite a bit of time adding my recipes and they all saved blank. Same with the ones I tried to import. Even though the app claims to support importing from all recipes and others, it didnt work for me. Basically just wasted a few hours of my day for nothing but headache.

The app does all that it promises. I had to re-enter all of my recipes from a previous app that I couldnt update because of Apples collusion with identity thieves, and Recipe Box made it easy. Now, with back-ups available as an option, I dont have to worry about that again.

I love this recipe box. Im a professional baker and Ive tried about 10 recipe boxes and this is my favorite. I have it on my iPad and my iPhone and my sons iPod so that I always have my recipes when I need them. My mom has it on her iPad too and its nice because we can sync the devices to share recipes. Its easy to organize and add your own categories, easy to add recipes, easy to import recipes from lots of different web sites, and easy to find your recipes. No complaints here!

I use the app daily and cant live without it. I have on my iPhone and iPad and love the fact that if I am out and decide to make something for dinner I look up the ingredients for each recipe at store. I like the new updates as well. Thanks

Very easy to use, customizable, appealing to the eye, I can take recipes Ive pinned on Pinterest and import the recipes, very organized, nice presentation, the list goes on. Love it!

My favorite app, works perfectly, easy to use.

I have this app on both my phone and iPad. Works great on the iPad but will not import recipes on my phone. Very frustrating :(
